Northwest Health continues expansion with the addition of husband and wife obstetrician/gynecologist Erika Pettis, M.D., and general surgeon Jaron Pettis, M.D., to Northwest Medical Group.
Dr. Erika Pettis, obstetrician/gynecologist is seeing patients at Northwest Medical Group - Women’s Health, 1509 State St., La Porte. Dr. Pettis received her medical degree from University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina. She completed her residency at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana.
As a specialist who cares for women through every phase of their lives, Dr. Pettis enjoys working with patients to understand and find solutions to their health goals and concerns. Her areas of interest include wellness, mammography and breast care, family planning and contraception, infertility, prenatal care, delivery and postpartum care, surgical interventions, pelvic pain including endometriosis and PCOS, menopause management, uterine fibroid treatment and urinary incontinence.

Dr. Pettis received his medical degree from University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina. He completed his general surgery residency at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana.
As a general surgeon, he specializes in surgeries that treat conditions of the abdomen, digestive system, breast, skin and soft tissue, endocrine system and injuries from accidents and other critical situations.
