The Valparaiso Police Department recently made it more convenient to pay an outstanding parking ticket. Individuals receiving a parking ticket can now log onto the Valparaiso Police Department’s website www.valparaisopolice.org and pay a parking ticket using their debit or credit card. Once logged onto the department’s website, click on the icon titled “Parking Enforcement/Payments”.
The new online payment system is only for individuals who received a parking citation, traffic citations will still be paid through the Porter County Court system.
Individuals who wish to pay their tickets with cash or a check can still pay at the police department or mail their payments to 355 S Washington St, Valparaiso In. 46383. A credit card/debit card transaction fee of $3.50 is collected by the credit card company for each transaction.
