This weekend last days of the orchard, fundraising dinner, day of the dead celebration, haunted houses, 5K walk/run, art exhibit opening, theatrical production, and more are all on tap for a fun weekend in Northwest Indiana!

The last days of County Line's 2013 season are in full swing! Stop up on apples, donuts, and other goodies before the orchard closes its doors for the season on November 3rd. It's been a great year for apples- stock up for tasty cider for the winter!

Dine in Support of Local Students
Don Quijote will host a fundraiser on November 3rd in support of the don Quijote Scholarship Fund. Enjoy the tastes of a 5 course meal, paired with a wine tasting, in support of bringing culture to local high school students. A silent auction will also be held to raise additional funds. All of the proceeds will go to benefit the fund.

On Saturday, November 2, the Porter County Museum of History will celebrate Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) all day long. This traditional Latino holiday will be commemorated with a variety of family friendly activities throughout the day, from 10am-5pm.

Get Spooked at Amhurst Asylum Amhurst
Asylum will offer thrills and chills through November 2nd. The haunted house has added new rooms, with an expansion of 20,000 square feet, for a frightful experience you won't forget!

This year's race is on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Purdue University North Central. Race-Day Registration and Packet Pick-Up begins at 7:30 a.m. in the LSF Building. The 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run kicks off at 9 a.m. and is followed by an Awards Ceremony for 5K (10K awards ceremony upon completion) at 10:00 a.m.

Spooky Haunts at Hebron Middle School
Come out to Hebron Middle School for a spooky good time this Halloween! The Hebron Haunted House is the winner of 1 of 5 National Community Service awards for the most outstanding service project! Sponsored by the Hebron National Junior Honor Society, the Haunted House proceeds will help to purchase presents for families in need at Christmas.

Second Annual SSAACC Photography Show
The Camera Club is a thriving part of the Southern Shore Art Association with over 20 members. In this show they present you with the best photographs taken this year, representing how they feel about their passion: Photography. They have captured moments in time from a different perspective.

Final Chance for the Spooktacular Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Audiences are invited to the final chance to see Chicago Street Theatre’s latest treat for the Halloween Season with The Spooktacular Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Halloween Party taking place at 6:30 PM on Thursday, October 31. The grown-up event will feature a Costume Contest, Spooky Spirits, Creepy Cuisine, and a Horrifying Host of Halloween activities and door prizes.

The Kibble Kitchen Pet Pantry will host its second annual SPAY-GHETTI DINNER from 4 to 9 pm Sunday, November 3. The evening will feature a pasta dinner, wine-tasting and sale, 50-50 and prize raffles, bake sale, and a silent auction.

Hobart Tri Kappa Annual Fundraiser
Hobart Tri Kappa is pleased to announce this year's annual fundraiser featuring the University of Notre Dame A Cappella group The Undertones. Cheering the day along will be the ND Leprechaun. Guest Speaker U.S. Congressman Pete Visclosky will be speaking on the importance of non-profits and charitable giving in NWI.
