Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra: "A New World"
Join the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra and Music Director/Conductor Kirk Muspratt for “A New World” on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 7:30pm at The Auditorium at Bethel Church. The concert will feature Jens Lindemann, trumpet. Maestro Muspratt will conduct a pre-concert lecture for ticket holders at 6:15 pm.

5th Annual WING FEST to Benefit TradeWinds
All-you-can-eat wings will be the centerpiece of a fun dinner event March 12th at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 3916 173rd Street in Hammond, with a lot of people enjoying themselves for a good cause, according to Optimist Club president Fred Kuhn. 

First Presbyterian Church of Portage Soup Luncheon
The First Presbyterian Church of Portage, 6225 Lute Road, is having a Soup Luncheon on Saturday, March 12, 2016, from 11 am-2 pm. There will be a large variety of soups to "warm your soul", tossed salad, bread, beverage, and dessert. 

14th Annual Michigan City Saint Patrick’s Day Parade
The Michigan City Saint Patrick’s Day Parade will be celebrated on Saturday March 12, 2016. The parade starts at 1pm, stepping off from 10th Street, marching north on Franklin Street and ending at 4th Street. This is open for public viewing so get your GREEN on and come on out and celebrate with us! 

HONEYHONEY Concert at the Memorial Opera House
On March 12th HONEYHONEY and their band will make take their steps onto the historic Memorial Opera House stage. First timers to the area, the band plans to bring their charming presence to an awaiting audience. But what should the audience expect from a HONEYHONEY show? “Fun times. Silly jokes. Good, cool hats. There’ll probably be two on stage.” Suzanne Santo jokes. 

La Porte County Symphony Orchestra's Classic Concert: Festival!
The La Porte County Symphony Orchestra presents: Festival! a classic concert on March 13, 3:00 pm at the Elston Performing Arts Center, 317 Detroit Street, Michigan, City IN. This concert is made possible by generous support from IU Health La Porte Hospital.

Portage Township Live Entertainment Association Presents Maniacal 4 Trombone Quartet
Who needs seventy-six trombones for musical entertainment, when the Maniacal 4 Trombone Quartet (M4) is coming to town! This internationally acclaimed group of four talented musicians will perform at Portage High School East Auditorium, Sunday, March 13th, 2016, at 3:00pm. The concert is presented by Portage Township Live Entertainment Association (PTLEA), a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization whose goal is for cultural activities to be made available in greater Portage. The concert is FREE TO STUDENTS and only $15.00 or a season ticket for adults at the door.
