Teacher Shout-out:
Mrs. Hartman: Kouts High School would like to give Middle School Science teacher, Jan Hartman, a special praise, and prayer. Around 2008, Jan Hartman was diagnosed with Breast Cancer that she battled with for quite some time.
For a few years, Mrs. Hartman has been going for check-ups every so often and getting a positive review that her cancer had stayed at bay. But, recently, dedicated teacher and mother, went in for a check-up and realized the cancer had made a reappearance.
Not only had it spread to her lungs, but also her spine. Students have gathered together and made cards to send to her and personal get-betters have been sent as well. Although, Mrs. Hartman being who she is, I know she wouldn’t want us to worry and I know she’s fighting very hard, but I would just like to put this out here to show how much she means to this school, and also to me. We’re keeping you in our prayers, stay strong.
