Are you interested in learning a new hobby? Do you already have a hobby, but no time or space to work on it at home? Then the Porter County Extension Homemakers have the answer! Come and join them for SPRING FLING on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The event will take place at Hawthorne Park Community Center, 500 Ackerman Drive, Porter, IN 46304. Admission price is $15.00 with lunch included.
Extension Homemakers will be doing demonstrations and make & takes throughout the day. You may also bring your own craft and space will be provided for you to work on it for the entire day. A Silent Auction will be going on during the day to help Extension Homemakers raise money for their scholarship fund. While you are there, Extension Homemakers will inform you about their organization and the kinds of volunteer projects they are involved with.
