The Girl Scouts of Valparaiso and Washington Township will be hosting its 35th Annual Scouting-Girl Style on Sunday, March 8 from 12:30-3:30 PM at Washington Twp High School. Open to the public, this year’s theme, “Fitabulous,” features a wide variety of fun and healthy happenings for the whole family.
Daisy, Brownie, Junior, and Cadette troops will be offering hands-on activities and games for boys and girls to participate in. Some of the featured booths include making your own sweat headband, Zumba routines, mental exercises, and relaxing Yoga. Cadette, Senior and Ambassador Girl Scout troops will be selling healthy snacks as well as hot dogs, drinks, nachos, and homemade desserts.
Girl Scout families as well as the general public are invited to participate in all activities. Admission to Scouting-Girl Style is one non-perishable food item to be donated to a local food pantry.
