A Healthy Way to Start Thanksgiving Day!

Turkey-Trot-2013-VolunteersThanksgiving Day is a time to have fun with family and friends, give back to your community and be thankful for all that you have. Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals, groups/clubs, families and kids of all ages at the Valparaiso Turkey Trot. A variety of times and opportunities available! Volunteer Meeting
Tuesday, November 5, 2013
Two meeting times available - Choose One: (12:00 pm or 6:00 pm)
Porter-Starke Services, 701 Wall Street (Entrance C), Valparaiso, IN

This meeting is an opportunity for your input on how to improve the event, learn a new position if you are changing volunteer jobs, review the overall event schedule, ask any questions and meet other Volunteers like yourself!

RSVP to the meeting by emailing turkeytrot@porterstarke.org. Pizza and drinks will be served.

In the Field House
Assist runners and walkers with registration or food at the largest race in Northwest Indiana!

  • Packet Pick-Up (11/27)
  • Registration Check-in
  • Race Day Registration
  • Food
  • Volunteer Registration

 

On the Course
Provide support and direction to runners and walkers on both the 5K & 10K routes - like having front row seats!

  • Start/Finish
  • Course Marshals
  • Water Stops
  • Split Timers
  • Traffic Directors

 

Signage
Like being behind the scenes? Help setup signs at the Field House and for the 5K and 10K routes.
