The Senators started with the ball, and a three-point shot was made by #10 Tyler Hachey, and then another by #34 James Hernandez. The Senators began to catch up, and the final score of the third quarter was 41-33.

The first point of the quarter was made by #12 Steven Hernandez for the Senators. Five and a half minutes into the fourth quarter, the Senators tied with the Cherokees due to a basket and free throw from #34 James Hernandez. The score was tied at 41-41. With two minutes left, there was once again a tie of 47-47. In the end, the Senators won 55-54. The Senators Head Coach Scott Bowersock discussed the team’s win.

“We had a nice half-time talk,” Bowersock said. “We were just lacking energy in the first half. Offensively we were taking bad shots, and defensively we were sluggish for the first half. In the second half we had energy, and just gradually we started wearing them down.”
