The Chesterton Art Center will be offering a Wool Hat Making class Saturday, October 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. In this class, students will learn to make a cloche hat using Merino wool roving, soap and water.
The hats will be made by felting the wool fibers to create the hat material. This wool material will then be formed into a bell shape. The hats will be sized to each student's head.
The class cost is $25 for members and $35 for non-members. There is a $25 material fee and students are asked to bring a towel.
