If you haven’t already, meet Chad Abair, PTA! Chad is our Therapy Program Director. Chad has been with Avalon Springs since 2017.
When asked what he loved most about his job, he said helping people. Whether it is reducing someone’s pain or helping them do something they used to do for the first time since surgery or injury is very satisfying.
Chad’s favorite Avalon Springs memory was having the honor of accompanying two of our residents, Don L. and Bill P. on the Honor Flight to Washington D.C.
Chad’s favorite meal served at Avalon Springs is the Chicken Caprese because it is well balanced and flavorful.
What has been your favorite outing or ER3 you’ve attended? Chad said that the Annual Census BBQ is a favorite due to it being outside, the amazing turnout of employees, and of course, the food.
The best advice given to Chad by a resident is that "if I can golf I'll keep going." Meaning that you should always find the pleasure in something, be positive, and make an effort to add to your bank of happiness.
If Chad could tell his story in six words it would be "Experience everything you can in life."
The advice he would give his younger self when looking back on his life so far is to "take every opportunity to do something to better yourself financially, spiritually, and emotionally."
Thank you, Chad, for being a part of the Avalon Springs and Synchrony Rehab families! We are so grateful for your support and dedication to making the lives of our residents the best they can be!
