Matthew, along with approximately 20 other club members, enjoyed a two-hour fishing trip to Lake George in Hobart as part of a four-day clinic entitled "Wish to Fish." The clinic was sponsored by BP in order to "help bring fishing-related fun to the youth of America."

Every child received a fishing rod and a tackle box as part of the sponsorship along with valuable information that included such things as, fish identification, casting, and tying hooks.
