A stated by famous photographer Ansel Adams, “There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer.” Members of Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County’s Valparaiso Club will have the opportunity not only view and study photographs, but to become the actual photographer taking creative images.
The Valparaiso Club is implementing a photography club from April 13 through May 25, 2016. Participants will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 5 to 6:30 pm with field trips scheduled every Friday to take pictures.
This program will educate youth on the history and techniques of photography while encouraging personal talent behind the camera. Photography Club only has 12 slots available. If interested, contact Andrew Prentice, program director, at (219) 464-7282, Extension 233 or via email at apprentice@bgcpoco.org.
