There is plenty to do at the Clubs this summer! Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County KidsCamp, the summer-time version of Kidstop, begins June 8 and runs through August 16. KidsCamp is a fun, safe and affordable program open from 6:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. for youth ages 6 – 12 (4 - 12 at the Valparaiso Club only).
KidsCamp provides a variety of activities in the Clubs five core program areas: Character and Leadership, Education and Career Development, Health and Life Skills, the Arts, and Sports, Fitness and Recreation. Our high quality enrichment program allows kids to enjoy a summer full of fun while meeting your childcare needs. All KidsCamp staff are trained and certified in First Aid and CPR.
This summer KidsCamp is offering weekly themes including art week, superhero week, animal week and special events every Friday! KidsCamp members will also enjoy fundamental field trips to places like the library, Brauer Museum of Art, Zao Island, National Lake Shore and more.
The best part about KidsCamp is that you only pay for the days you actually use the program. The most anyone might pay is $100 for a whole week of service. Children must be members of Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County. Annual membership fee is $35 (Duneland Club, $25). Discounts for multiple-child families and financial assistance for KidsCamp and Club membership are available for those who qualify. Contact your local Club to find out more.
