Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County welcomed three new members to their Board of Directors at their June meeting.
Melissa Marshall, Marketing Consultant with Radio One, has recently been involved with Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County as a special event committee member and Volunteer Ambassador. She regularly volunteers at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County-South Haven Unit and also volunteers with United Way of Porter County’s Young Leaders United and Bair Lake Bible Camp Ministries.
Doug Miller, President of Miller Marketing Group, Inc., is a longtime resident of Porter County and has volunteered with several community organizations over the years. Currently, he is a member of the Valparaiso Rotary Club, a Board Member of the Gary Old Timers and Board Chairman of Discoveries Unlimited.
Analisa Warring, Vice President of Branch Development at REGIONAL Federal Credit Union in Valparaiso, has served as a Volunteer Ambassador for Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County since 2010 and is the Chairperson for this year’s Steak & Burger Dinner. She has been active with the Greater Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce since 2007 and currently co-hosts the Chamber’s AM Valpo program. Analisa is also involved with United Way of Porter County’s Young Leaders United and is on the Leadership Team for the Valparaiso Chapter of ROI.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County Board of Directors also elected new officers to serve as two-year term. Tim Rice is the Board Chairman, Larry Moore is Vice-Chairman and Todd Elliot is the new Secretary/Treasurer.
“We are extremely excited to welcome Analisa, Melissa and Doug to our board,” said Tim Rice. “These are exciting times for our organization, and we look forward to the many contributions they will make for many years to come.”
Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County has been opening doors to GREAT FUTURES for Porter County’s youth since 1971.
