South Shore Dance Alliance (SSDA), a non-profit pre-professional NW Indiana contemporary dance company, is holding company auditions on Saturday, October 23, 1-5 p.m. at South Shore Centre for the Arts, 665 South Lake Street, Gary, Indiana 46403
Registration begins at 1 p.m.; auditions begin promptly at 2 p.m. The October 23 SSDA auditions are intended for experienced dancers, ages 12 through adult, dancing at intermediate to advanced pre-professional levels.
SSDA company members have the opportunity to perform throughout the Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland area, to participate in weekly company classes and rehearsals at the SSDA studios at South Shore Centre for the Art, and work with outstanding dance faculty and professional choreographers from the Chicago and New York City dance communities.
