Calvary Link: As We Grow

calvary-link-headerThere is so much going on in the life of Calvary Church these days! Our God is being worshipped and His Word proclaimed as our numbers grow! On September 15th we will be launching three services to make room for more people to hear the good news and worship our God. We need your help! With the addition of our new services times, we need many more volunteers so that we can continue to be effective in the work God has called us to. There will be sign-up tables available in the foyer this again week where you will have the opportunity to volunteer to serve. God has gifted each and every one of us to be able to serve in His Kingdom and has given us leaders to equip us. If you are still looking for ways to get involved and to serve - this is your opportunity! There is no greater joy than to be serving in the Kingdom of God, for His glory.

As the fall season approaches fast, so does the "Into All The World" tour. Sevenglory is gearing up to travel to Kenya on October 6th and we couldn't be more excited! We will be playing concerts on high school and college campuses all across Nairobi, leading worship at Nairobi Chapel, and visiting our Calvary Kids at the Mitaboni Home. I want to take the time to say thank you to those who have given to support us. We have raised $19,000 so far towards our $25,000 goal! We can not wait to see what God will do on this trip and because of your generosity, we are sharing in this journey together.

It was great to have Pastor Knute Larson with us this past Sunday as Pastor Lionel was taking some much needed time to devote to prayer and renewal. How blessed we are to be a part of a church community where our leaders are committed to spending time in prayer and hearing from God! Make sure to join us again this week as we prepare to lift our voices in song, give joyfully, and continue our journey through the Gospel of Mark. You don't want to miss it!
