Calvary Link: For Your Joy

calvary-link-headerI want you to grow--for God's glory and your joy! This Sunday I'm talking about the things that get in the way of our spiritual growth. We are listening to the very words of Jesus on the topic--and I'm going to talk about how we can apply these words to our lives so that we can grow for God's glory and our good. Vertical verse-by-verse preaching is back! We've got the greatest worship band in the region leading us once again this week--and we are also going to eat and drink together in celebration of our salvation.

Did you know that 25 people just completed our most recent Catalyst Membership class at Calvary--and that's not including the children who took our Children's Catalyst Class for Baptism and membership! This is happening because YOU are WITNESSING. Wow! And if you have a friend coming to church--tell them I want to have a cup of coffee with them this Sunday night at Cornucopia. I love meeting new people you're inviting to church.

I'm thankful to be your pastor--I'm all in for your joy--and I'm so glad we are spreading the Word throughout Northwest Indiana and the World--together.

For Your Joy,

Lionel

PS. I just downloaded the song Who You Are by Kristian Stanfill on the Passion White Flag album so I'm ready to sing it this Sunday. God loves NEW Songs (Ps. 96:1)!

Books Still Available
We are rejoicing in the publication of our Senior Pastor's first book, A New Kind of Missionary: What Every Christian Needs to Know About the Global Church. The book is available at www.amazon.com and other online booksellers. A small number of copies are still available for $10 at the Calvary Church Library. Any proceeds for the books sold at Calvary will go to Pastor Lionel's favorite charity, Mission Mitaboni in Kenya.
