It has been a blessing to sit under the tutelage of so many gifted men of God already this summer, and we are only 3 weeks into the line-up. It seems like each week’s message is a home-run and exactly what I need to hear in my own life. I trust you, too, are thankful for the way God has provided for Calvary especially through the pulpit ministry! Pastor Lionel’s care, commitment, and concern for this congregation while he is away is evident in the men that he has invited to come and share the Word in his absence. Continue to pray for Lionel as he balances a summer of work, planning, preparation, and refreshment. I know he is praying for us here at Calvary.
Join us this week as we have Dr. Ronald Manahan stepping into the pulpit to knock one outta the park. He is the president of Grace College and Seminary and has served Grace for 35 years. Dr. Manahan is an author, lecturer, and educator. He is married to Barbara and is the father of two children: Kelly Manahan, M.D., and Nathan Manahan. He will be sharing from Psalm 42 on the topic of “A Longing for Something More.”
As the summer days get longer and nicer, remember to encourage your friends and family to set aside time each week to worship. I’m looking forward to what God will do at Calvary Church this Sunday.....see you there!

Facetime Prayer Gathering
Facetime Prayer Gathering is TONIGHT, 6.6 at 6:30p, and we need you to come and join us in prayer. Tonight we will pray specifically for our Student Ministries during a time of transition, our Children's Ministries as we gear up for one of our biggest outreach events of the year, Vacation Bible School, as well as our featured missionary for month of June, the McClure family. We hope you will join us for this intimate time of worship and prayer!

Children's Ministries
Vacation Bible School volunteer sign-ups will take place this Sunday, 6.10 following each service. Teens and adults are invited to become a part of this exciting week, 7.9-13 from 6-8p. We not only need Teachers, but KidCheck and Admin Support, and Game Time, Snack Time, and Craft Time Leaders as well. Student Ministries
Everyone loves a road trip. High School Students, you don't want to miss the Road Rally on Saturday, 6.16! Meet in the church parking lot at 3:30p and bring a modest swimsuit (under your regular clothes), a towel, an adventurous attitude, and an appetite. Food will be provided! Cost is FREE!
Middle School Students, grab a friend and your thinking caps! Meet at Calvary Church parking lot at 3:30p on Saturday, 6.23 for the craziest clue hunt ever! You will need to bring a modest swimsuit (under your regular clothes), a towel, and an appetite! Food will be provided! Cost is FREE!
