We are rejoicing today that Peter Khosla has joined our staff team at Calvary! He brings vision, talent, passion, and a work ethic that is second to none to our staff. How exciting it was for me to hear that 25 new people volunteered just last Sunday alone to be part of our Student Ministries team. Now that's what I'm talking about Calvary!!! We are gonna love our teens through the years and help them follow Christ forever! I'm celebrating God at work in our midst.
I'm in the Word again today getting ready for Sunday. We will continue learning about the most interesting man in the world: Jesus--the One who came--and the One who is coming again. I encourage you to invite someone to join with you for Advent Celebrations each Sunday in December---and for one of our Christmas Eve services at 5p and 7p.
It's not too late to get tickets for the Family Force 5 Concert this Sunday night--along with Rapture Ruckus, Capital Kings, and Everyday Sunday (ticket info is below). I hear it is going to be a wild night of good clean fun!

Student Ministries
THIS Sunday, 12.16 the Family Force 5 Christmas Pageant Tour visits Calvary with Rapture Ruckus, Capital Kings, and Everyday Sunday! Tickets are on sale at www.itickets.com for $15 in advance and $20 the day of the event. Doors open for the 6p concert at 5:30p. A limited number of tickets are available for the Calvary community at just $10 by entering "Mitaboni" as a coupon code upon online checkout.
Advent Worship Services
Local outreach is happening here at Calvary this Advent season! Reach out to your friends in the community and invite them to join us for worship at 9a or 10:45a on Sundays in December.
This year we will hold two Christmas Eve Communion Services at 5p & 7p. Childcare will be available for infants through preschoolers during the 5p Christmas Eve service only.
Facetime Prayer Gathering
The Facetime Prayer Gathering is this Friday, 12.14 at 9:30a. This is a great opportunity to join our staff and elders and pray for our church, our city, our country, and the cause of global missions. We hope you will join us for this intimate time of worship and prayer!
Coffee with the Pastors
Calvary guests are invited to join us Sunday, 1.6 from 6:30-8p at Cornucopia Coffee Company. Learn about Calvary’s values and vision, and take the opportunity to ask questions of the pastoral staff in a casual environment. We would love to meet you! RSVP at the Info Desk or online.
Covenant Groups
Covenant Small Group Ministry is the primary vehicle for discipleship and care within the Calvary family. Joining a small group is essential to getting “plugged in”. Open registration for the next session is Sunday, 1.6-1.13. If you are interested in registering for a Covenant Group then we encourage you to attend one of the four orientation classes offered in room 300 during the worship services on 1.13 & 1.20.

Want to explore more of Scripture with your church family? Calvary has several ways to dig into the biblical truths presented on Sunday mornings. You can listen to Pastor Lionel's sermon again or read his sermon blog, Miscellanies, to pick up details you missed or to refresh your memory. Sermon Study Guides encourage Groups and individuals to pursue a greater understanding of the Bible text discussed on Sunday and to apply it to daily life. Study guides are posted with the sermons and are also available at the Info Desk or from Covenant Group leaders.
