Can you believe that this month alone our church community will welcome more than 50 people into our membership! Wow. And this Sunday I'm in the water with new people who are being baptized--who are taking the plunge--who are saying, "I'm all in with Jesus!" This Sunday in both of our services we will worship, proclaim the Word, and welcome new people to Calvary Church!
A dear mother in our community sent this note to one of our pastors this week: "I just want to say thank you again for the time you took with my daughter yesterday. Your explaining God's salvation message and all the illustrations you used meant so much...I think I enjoyed hearing it as much as her!" Her daughter will be baptized this Sunday--and the family invited their unchurched soccer friends to come watch. They said Yes! This little girl is all in for Jesus--unashamed of her savior--and already sharing the Gospel. Don't you just love it?
Join me in rejoicing this weekend with those who are unashamed, who are with me in the water, and who are following Jesus no matter what the cost. Keep witnessing Calvary Church.You are spreading the Word throughout Valparaiso, Northwest Indiana, and the World.

What's new at Calvary...
Concert at Calvary
Matt Maher, Chris August, and Bellarive will be coming to Calvary THIS Friday, 4.26 for the "All The People Tour" with special guest Sevenglory opening the evening. Concert start time is 6:45p. Doors will open at 6:30p for general admission ticket holders. VIP experience begins promptly at 5:30p and includes admission to the concert, early entry into the venue, a free CD, artist meet & greet, and an acoustic performance with Matt Maher and Chris August. Local Outreach
Calvary's building a house. Join us as we partner with Habitat for Humanity Saturday, 5.4 at Calvary Church. Arrive at 8:30a and bring a hammer and gloves. Lunch will be provided. Men, women, and teens 16 and older can help! For questions contact noel@calvaryweb.net.
Catalyst Membership Class

Catalyst for Kids
The Catalyst for Kids course (for kids ages 8-12) focuses on God’s character, salvation, baptism, and following God’s plan. This is a terrific course for those children interested in being baptized, as well as for those desiring a solid foundation on each week’s topics. This 4-week course meets at 9a in the banquet room (403) each Sunday starting 5.5 thru 5.26. Email Victoria@calvaryweb.net to register your child (please include name, grade, and age of child) or stop by the Children's Welcome Center this Sunday to register. Space is limited.
Women's Ministries
When your family grows, our church family grows! To celebrate the recent additions to Calvary families, we will hold a baby dedication ceremony on Mother's Day, 5.12. If you would like to participate, request forms are available at the Info Desk.
Calling all Daughters of the King...You are cordially invited to a Mother Daughter Royal Luncheon on Saturday, 5.11 at 11a. Enjoy a beautiful Royal Luncheon and dessert, worship, a special craft, and our guest speaker, Kelly Lackey. This event is recommended for mothers and their daughters (Kindergarten thru 8th grade) and pre-registration is required by 4.28. The Band of Brothers Monthly Social is Thursday night, 5.2 at Pastor Mark Lackey's Home (103-2 South 200 W).
