Please join me in welcoming Pastor Steve Buchelt to our team at Calvary. The staff is enjoying getting to know him better and dreaming about how we can partner together for the gospel. Pastor Steve comes to us with 35+ years of pastoral and ministry experience, most recently as a chaplain with Unity Hospice. I met Steve and his wife Diane a few years ago and was immediately impressed with their warmth and genuine love for people.
Steve will be providing pastoral care as well as vision for our Life Change Center. He will not be doing all the care at Calvary or single-handedly running the Life Change Center, but rather much of his work will be focused on equipping and empowering God's people to provide care for our growing church community. We also want our Life Change Center to be a place that helps people in our church and in the larger community with their hurts, habits and hang-ups. That's the vision!
If you see Steve on Sunday, be sure to welcome him. He and Diane have been part of our church family for almost 4 years, and Steve was part of the teaching team for God Songs last summer so his face might already be familiar to you. Coffee With the Pastors
Come and meet Calvary staff and other newcomers to the church at Coffee with the Pastors this Sunday evening at 6:30p. Ask questions and get to know a little bit about the Calvary community, plus let us get to know you. Calvary pastors and ministry directors will be at the event to meet you. RSVPs are appreciated.
Life Groups Launch
