Camp FUNset Registration Day Announced for Saturday, April 13th

Camp-Funset-Updated-LogoMark your calendar for Saturday, April 13th to register for Porter County Parks and Recreation Summer Camps for children grades 1st through 7th grade held at Sunset Hills Farm. Registration will take place at Sunset Hills Farm from 9 am until 12 noon on this day.

Advance registration will assure your child’s spot at camp this year and offers a $5 per camp savings. Camps will be held Monday through Thursdays from 9 am to 3 pm.

These ever growing, ever popular camps promise to fill up quickly so please set aside this day to plan your child’s summer.

Camp FUNset welcomed hundreds of campers to Sunset Hill Farm County Park last summer and, during winter break, a two-day camp was offered for the first time.

Program Coordinator Katie Rizer, who is the Camp Director for Porter County Parks and Recreation, has a set up an interesting array of camps designed to appeal to all campers.

Kick off camp this year begins with the Amazing Race Theme Camp, other themes include Pioneer Days, Celebrate USA, Create Art, H20 Wild Water, Super Hero, Wilderness and more.

Camp FUNset will end with a grand finale Reunion and Family Campout to round out the summer.
