CCSJ-Womens-Bowling-Ends-Season-at-XBowling-SectionalThe Crimson Wave women's bowling team competed in the USBC XBowling Sectional this weekend in Addison, IL.. The Crimson Wave entered the sectional as the 11th seed.

The Crimson Wave entered the sectional as the 11thseed. This sectional was the toughest competition during a sectional tournament the ladies have faced over the past few seasons.

The Crimson Wave averaged 181 pins overall throughout the sectional. With a tough field in place this average did not allow the ladies to finish in the top grouping, ending their season on Sunday morning.

Junior, Viktoria Hines (JR/La Porte, Ind.), highlighted the ladies performance throughout the weekend. Her high level of play and consistent striking forced Coach Randy Vania to move her to the anchor position to maximize the team's effectiveness.

The Crimson Wave's season ended with two second place finishes along with a third place finish and two fourth place finishes.

Seniors, Danielle Rudnickas (SR/Highland, Ind.) and Samantha Johnson (SR/Griffith, Ind.) have concluded their bowling careers at CCSJ. Danielle and Samantha have both helped tremendously in the successes this season, with Samantha earning one All-Tournament selection and Danielle earning three, a new team record!
