CertaPro Painters of Northwest Indiana specializes in helping owners improve their property with quality and reliability. It’s qualities like these that encouraged Jason Mathews, a Residential Sales Associate, to recently join the CertaPro team.
“CertaPro is part of a larger, national entity, but we're a franchise,” Mathews said. “You get more of a family feeling.”
This type of culture was exactly what Mathews was looking for.
“Everybody works together well and supports each other,” he said.
This feeling was created right from the start. During his first conversation with Owner John Jordan, Mathews knew that CertaPro of Northwest Indiana was a unique opportunity.
“We got to talking, and it seemed like a good fit as far as personality, work ethics, and goals that we'd like to achieve in life,” Mathews said.
What Mathews most enjoys is that the team at CertaPro brings this type of positive energy to their customers on a daily basis.
“CertaPro of Northwest Indiana is part of a big company, but we can meet with our customers on a personal level,” Mathews said.
As a Residential Sales Associate, Mathews works with homeowners on their painting and home improvement projects.
“I go in, look through the home, find the best ways to get their home looking the way they want, and build a report for them,” Mathews said. “The goal is to make sure when they walk through their home after the project is finished, they feel happy with the way it looks.”
For Mathews, the best part of his work is when customers are so happy that he gets to work with them again.
“What's most important is to see the finished product, hear their feedback, and see how happy they are,” Mathews said. “We love to hear how professional the work looks and how well the job went. It brightens our day.”
When Mathews isn’t at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs outdoors. Enjoying an active lifestyle, they can be frequently found on local hiking, biking, and kayaking routes.
