Cheryl J. Warnock of Westville, IN went to her eternal home and joined her Savior on April 13, 2023. She was born March 6, 1944 in LaPorte, Indiana, to Scheryl (Jack) and Mary Louise Warnock. She is survived by her children Cori Warnock, Brian (Michelle) Warnock, Ryan (Teresa) Warnock, five grandchildren- Brielle, Nathan, Mitchell, Annalise, and Jack; nieces and nephew – Melanie, Jayme and Michael. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Dennis and Sister-in-Law (Carol). Cheryl graduated from Westville High School, attended Purdue North Central and business college receiving certificates for business administration. She worked the 1st half of her career at InterRoyal Corp. in Michigan City as an Administrative Assistant and Production Scheduler before coming to work in Westville as Office Administrator at Lew Cass Insurance until she retired. Cheryl enjoyed participating in several organizations and supporting her community. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary - Post #21, serving in several officer positions, a past member of the Westville Planning Commission, Westville Zoning Appeals Board, New Durham Township Library Board, and a regular election poll worker.

As a young lady, Cheryl was an accomplished dancer, studying different dance styles, such as ballet, tap, and modern dance. She loved music, studying piano in her school years, and accompanying the high school choir and band. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and tending to her flowers. She especially loved spending time with family, regularly attending sporting events and the special moments of her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling with her family on many family vacations.

A visitation for Cheryl will take place on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 4PM-7PM and funeral service Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 2:30PM, with visitation 1 hour prior at Newhard Funeral Home in Westville. Pastor Toby Guill will officiate. Place of final rest will be in Westville Cemetery.
