The community is invited to experience food, fun, music and dancing at the annual Gloria de Cinco De Mayo event on Sunday, May 5th at noon. The family-friendly celebration will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church and School, 1700 Monticello Park Drive in Valparaiso.
The afternoon will begin with authentic home-cooked Mexican cuisine prepared by the families of the Gloria Dei mission. After lunch, the Gloria de Hispanic folkloric dance group will delight the audience with their Mexican dances and traditional costumes. The afternoon will end with the children trying their hand at the candy-filled pinatas.
There is no fee to attend the event. A free will offering will be accepted.
