The Crown Point PACE (Parks, Athletics, Communications and Entertainment) Department has announced the return of its Fun in the Sun Adult Summer Sand Volleyball League. The adult co-ed and women’s sand volleyball league will begin at the end of May.
This year, Fun in the Sun will feature co-ed and women’s 6x6 divisions and a 4x4 coed division from 6-9 p.m.
The adult summer co-ed and women's division will consist of a minimum of nine matches and tournament competition with a maximum 16 teams per night. All matches are played outdoors at Sauerman Woods Park on the sand volleyball courts located at 1000 E. South St., Crown Point, IN 46307.
Individual entry fee is as follows:
Crown Point residents who live within city limits: $40
Non-residents who live outside city limits: $50
League schedule
4x4 co-ed league (Monday nights): Begins June 6, 2022
6x6 co-ed and women’s leagues (Tuesday nights): Begins May 31, 2022
6x6 co-ed and women’s leagues (Wednesday night): Begins June 1, 2022
