This year’s event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26. The Crown Point Police Department, 124 N. East St., will have a collection bin in the lobby. All medications will be safely collected and disposed of by public safety officials.
Syringes of any kind, liquids and vape pens with batteries will not be accepted. Vape pens without batteries are permitted.
This is the 16th year the department has participated in the event. The department offers a drug take back receptacle in its lobby all year.
