Deep Cuts: Let Your Voice Be Heard

Deep Cuts: Let Your Voice Be Heard

This Deep Cuts is a little different. There are no “Deep Cuts”.

Let me explain…

I once read an article about customer service that said the most important thing customers want from customer service is not a 100% favorable resolution, but simply to genuinely feel like their voices are heard.

In other words, we don’t want to be silenced with a $10 gift card and a half-hearted “have a good day,” we want the person on the other end of the counter or the phone to say, “you’re right, man. That does suck and I am sorry.”

We want our voices heard.

Which is why we have a Voices section on all four of our sites. It’s a chance for you to voice your opinion or shoutout something positive you see in Northwest Indiana, and share it with thousands of readers who want to learn; who want to be inspired.

Let me clarify, I understand that the local restaurant running out of the daily special the night before sucks, I have been there myself.

But if your local restaurant has a waiter who is working two jobs to get by and comes to work everyday with a smile and sense of pride, Voices is the place to shout them out.

Or what if you would like to see more locals supporting their local restaurants? Voices is the place for that, too.

Burnt steak… no.

So when I said this Deep Cuts is different, it’s because it is. It’s because I am putting the call out to all of you out there to submit something to share@ideasinmotionmedia.com with the subject “Voices” and let your voice be heard.

This Deep Cuts is empty, in other words, because it’s reserved for you.
