Douglas Wayne Elliott, 60 of Wanatah, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022 in Valparaiso. He was born October 11, 1961 in LaPorte to Robert and Barbara (Kroening) Elliott. Douglas is survived by his children Meagan (Cory) Rybenski of Cedar Lake, Nathan Elliott of Valparaiso; his granddaughter Isla; parents Robert and Barbara Elliott of LaPorte; his brother Curt (Suella) Elliott of Union Mills, his sister Alicia (Jerry) Lasky of Valparaiso and his niece Tarrah (Dane) Bormann and nephews Jared and Derek Lasky. Many other dear family members and close friends also survive him. Douglas was a carpenter working on many construction projects through the years. He loved woodworking, fishing, jet skiing and the outdoors. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 29 th at Newhard Funeral Home, 58 W. Walnut St. in Westville.
