Love is in the air this month, and customers will love shopping local at the 2nd Annual Galentine’s Shop Around! On Thursday, February 8th from 4:00-7:00 p.m., twenty businesses located in downtown Valparaiso will offer in-store dis counts, special offers, and fun activities.
Shoppers can expect everything from complimentary Valentine’s Day themed treats and mocktails to free gifts with purchases and discounts on a wide range of products. Offers vary from store to store, so there’s a surprise through every door!
Ella Jayms (260 Franklin St. Suite 102) will feature a permanent jewelry pop up with NJ Jewels along with sweet treats, giveaways, and a Love Note Bar. Shop pers can buy one get one free on all cupcakes and cookies at Designer Des serts (56 Lincolnway). Old World Market (76 S. Washington St.) will have in store tasting and 10% off chocolate. Rocket Fizz (157 Lincolnway) will have free samples, 10% off all purchases, and a free craft for kids 12 and under with any $5+ purchase (child must be present; while supplies last). Galentines can delight in sweet treats by KupKates, tea mocktail samples, and a free gift with purchases over $75 at The Spice & Tea Exchange (161 Lincoln way). Lifestyles (122 E. Lincolnway) and Wilhelmina’s Home Décor & Art (829 E. Lincolnway) will have in-store discounts and complimentary treats. In die Indie Bang! Bang! (19 E. Lincolnway) will feature a “Scratch n Win” sur prise gift and a signature drink of the evening—the Cosmo Bang Bang!

Lincolnway, Suite 1006; 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.) from February 12-16 to automatically win a $10 gift card for a downtown business and be entered in to wine a Galentine’s Gift Basket valued at $150.
