Pulaski County Indiana is full of outdoor and indoor attractions. Throughout the summer, the county’s special events make a visit essential. July brings the Northern Indiana Power from the Past and Bo Duke, who is played by John Schneider, will visit the Shadyhill Speedway in early August.
Shadyhill Speedway is a dirt racing oval in Pulaski County. It has events throughout the summer. They run weekly classes for UMP Modified, Pro Late Model, Bomber, and 4-Bangers. They also have a Lucky 7 Stock Car class seven times a year. Their weekly events often take place on Saturdays.
Children are allowed in the pits, but only with a parental consent form. This is a unique experience that cannot be found in other counties. Specific practice days are spread throughout the summer and a pit pass is only five dollars.
While events take place throughout the summer, August 6th is the day the Bo Duke, of Dukes of Hazzard, will make a guest appearance.

The campground also hosts various events, such as their 4th of July weekend event from Friday the 1st to Monday the 4th. There will be a water war game, a golf cart parade, a slip-n-slide, and games of poker and bingo. Later in July is their annual BBQ cook-off and their first Adult Prom, an event limited to adults but with an all-inclusive event in the afternoon.
