Family Life Series Workshops

The Family & Youth Service Bureau in Valparaiso strives to strengthen families in Porter County. Through a wonderful grant opportunity, they are having a Family Life Series Workshop which addresses various topics related to teens and families. They are free and open to anyone!

The first workshop will be held on January 12 and 26 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Valparaiso office, entitled "Parenting Adolescents: What's Normal and What's Not?" This workshop will offer tips on when to get help for teenage behavior problems. Come prepared to ask questions and learn new ways to manage teen behavior. The present, Tom Moeller, MS LSW, is the Assistant Director of Clinical Services at FYSB. Tom has spent the last 30 years dealing with adolescents in a variety of settings including an alternative school, the criminal justice field, and the last six years as a clinical therapist.
