Flanagin’s Bulk Mail Service Presents: Carly’s Story

flannagins-carly-deckerCarly was born in 2010 with Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension and transported to Riley Hospital for Children. During her stay in the hospital the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana reached out to us and helped us ANY way they could. A temporary room at the hospital to be steps away from our daughter then a permanent room at the Ronald McDonald house on Limestone was given to us immediately.

Every year, approximately 1,400 families stay at the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana while their children receive life-saving treatment at Indianapolis-area hospitals, primarily Riley Hospital for Children. Through donations, time and support the RMH is able to keep their doors open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, to ensure that families can stay together when they need each other the most.

This house and nonprofit organization is So important to my family and my company Flanagin’s Bulk Mail Service. Through the generous donations of this community we were able to raise over 3,000 for the Ronald McDonald house in 2011 to honor Carly with Leaves on the Heart and Leaf wall located & displayed at the hospital. Every year after we have collected pop tabs & donations from their wish list to bring to the RMH the weekend of Run For Ronald. Carly runs in the race and we are able to visit the house to bring the donations and visit the hospital to thank the nurses who cared for her.

A huge thank you to Thomas Jefferson Middle School who collected an amazing amount of pop tabs that we are delivering the weekend of June 20th.
