Have you ever been to Strongbow Inn? It’s a destination restaurant located in Valparaiso that is famous for turkey! Yes, every day is Thanksgiving at Strongbow Inn! Its employees were out on Thursday September 6 serving lunch from 11am-1pm by the Central Park Plaza as one of many events that will be taking place in Downtown Valparaiso this week as the city of Valparaiso gears up for the Popcorn Fest on Saturday.
Strongbow’s Executive Chef Dave Hemdal was there along with owner Russ Adams, both looking dapper in their chef’s coats, along with other hardworking Strongbow employees. Lunch was served under the Orville Redenbacher Tent, and guests happily dined, socialized, and enjoyed the shade.
“We’ve got turkey pies, whipped potatoes with gravy, cranberries, coleslaw and apple pie,” said Chef Hemdal.
