Hammond City Officials, the Department of Economic Development and Gifted Hands Academy are pleased to announce the grand opening of Gifted Hands Academy LLC (GHA). We invite you to celebrate with us on March 26, 2024 at 1pm at their new location at 6831 Grand Avenue Hammond, Indiana 46323. We are so excited to invite you to this joyous occasion to celebrate another milestone with them!
GHA continues to offer educational and training opportunities for individuals interested in launching a career in healthcare. Visionary, Tiffany Stokes turned her passion for phlebotomy into a tangible career concept for residents of Northwest Indiana. With a focus on being a key point in community engagement and working with community members who want to stimulate the community, GHA has continued to grow and offer multiple Allied Health classes.
To date, GHA has serviced 11 Certified Phlebotomy classes and 4 Certified EKG Tech classes. By maintaining their commitment to intimate learning spaces and hands on experiences, they have assisted with job placement for students who have enrolled into their program. GHA prides itself on being a helping hand by also sponsoring 2 students per year who present financial need to attend the school through the IDA BELL Scholarship. “We don’t want to just show our students how to be successful through class, we want to demonstrate positive ways to build a community that supports each other. “, said owner Tiffany Stokes.
