Give Valpo Parks Day Camp A Try

Valpo-Parks-Day-CampSummer will be here before you know it which means the summer camp season is right around the corner! There are many factors to consider when selecting the right camp for your child such as the activities, location, and costs. One important factor to consider is the staff. The counselors and directors work and interact with your child constantly throughout their time at camp; the staff’s experience and attitude can really impact your child’s camping experience.

This summer give the Valpo Parks Discovery Camps a try. Our staff is comprised of young adults and teachers who have a passion for working with children and believe a child doesn’t take a summer vacation from learning. Through the planned activities and special events at camp, the children will try new things, develop new skills, and make new friends. At Discovery Camps, the staff will create a welcoming environment that allows the children to be themselves and have a great camp experience.

The Discovery Camps program is accredited through the American Camp Association and the four age specific programs are offered in weekly sessions all summer at Rogers-Lakewood Park. The camps include Adventures Camp for ages 3-5, Voyagers Camp for children entering kindergarten, Discovery Day Camp for grades 1-6, and Rangers Camp for tweens entering grades 7 & 8. Scholarships are available for the camp programs and extended camp care is available for Day and Rangers Camp.
