Parkview Elementary will join Goodwill in a Stuff-A-Truck donation drive. The new fundraiser from Goodwill Industries of Michiana, Inc. will help Parkview Elementary School raise up to $1,000 dollars to support academics and literacy and extracurricular activities.
Donations change lives and it is a great way to give back to the community. The Thomas Jefferson Middle School (TJMS) National Junior Honor Society is joining the cause by volunteering to achieve some service hours and helping during the drop off hours.
“This is a great way to show service learning to the students in our community,” Wodetzki said, principal at Parkview Elementary.
Bring your gently used clothing and house wares to the Goodwill Semi-trailer at Parkview Elementary. The Goodwill truck will be set up outside of Parkview Elementary School at 1405 Wood Street beginning after school Monday, November 4th through November 15th from 3-6 p.m. and Saturday November 9th and November 16th from 9 a.m. – 1p.m. For special donation requests, please contact Helene Pierce via email hpierce@valpo.us
