Habitat ReStore Aids Food Bank

Habitat-ReStoreThe Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Indiana’s ReStore, located at 6114 W. Ridge Road, will be collecting canned soup and other non-perishable foods for the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana. Donations will be collected Saturday, December 1, through Tuesday, December 11. Donators who bring in at least five cans of soup or other food donations will receive 20 percent off any single item in the store.

The ReStore accepts tax-deductible building and home improvement donations for resale at up to 75 percent or more off retail pricing. Items in the store are both new and used. Proceeds from the sales of the ReStore’s merchandise help fund Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Indiana’s ongoing efforts to build homes within the community.
