Heinold & Feller Host 2nd Annual Women’s Day Car Clinic, Raise Support for Breast Cancer Awareness

Heinold & Feller Tire & Lawn Equipment held their 2nd Annual Women's Day Car Clinic on Wednesday, October 19, 2011as a way to help support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The free event had women split up into five separate groups where they attended different stations and were taught from Heinold & Feller employees on how to fix car problems as well as understand how the different parts of the car work.

"The weather wasn't very nice," said Chris Barbauld of The Barbauld Agency. "But the information and atmosphere inside the 2nd Annual Women's Car Care Clinic was great! Thanks to all who attended!"

Some of the stations included information and demonstrations on how to change a tire, recognizing brake problems, and changing oil. In between switching stations, the women gathered in the middle of the room for questions and answers. In addition, a number of vendors attended the event including Terry Abner Salon, Bee's Purse Parties, and The Wellness Center. In the event's first year, over $1,500 in donations and door prizes were raised for the American Cancer Society. This year, Heinold & Feller Tire Co. & Lawn Equipment was able to donate $630 to the American Cancer Society.

This year, Heinold & Feller Tire Co. & Lawn Equipment gain will be donating to the American Cancer Society! For every set of four tires sold, Heinold & Feller will be donating $10.00 from October 9th to the 22nd, and give the customer $10.00 off as well . If you need some tires, and want to help a great cause, here's your chance to do both!
