Hogan Consulting Group Introduces Donation-Matching Program for Employees

hogans-gives-back-1Hogan Consulting Group, an Information Technology consulting company based out of Chesterton, is starting a new program geared toward improving their surrounding community.

CEO Michael Hogan and his wife Rebecca started a new initiative that will see the company matching any donation made toward a charitable organization this year. The goal of the program is to allow the Hogan Consulting Group assist employees in giving back to the causes that are important to them.

“We wanted to put together a framework to encourage our employees to support causes they believe in,” explained Hogan. “It’s the first year and I’d love for it to grow. We are always looking for ways to be better for next year, for our employees, customers, and for our community.”

hogans-gives-back-2In the past Hogan Consulting Group has worked with employee-suggested charities, including raising money for juvenile diabetes. The company raised money by participating in a program that encouraged individuals to wear a blue ribbon in their hair to show support for the cause.

“I think one of the best parts of the program is that it is not going to be directed by me, it will be 100% employee-driven,” explained Hogan.

Through the years, the Hogan Consulting Group has continually worked to give back to their community, having worked in the past with Duneland-area schools by using their donations to allow students to learn in labs they otherwise wouldn’t.

Hogan continued, “I want to support programs geared towards the benefit of children and education. I like Hogan Consulting Group and our employees to be good corporate citizens in giving back to the community.”
