The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi’s Four Winds® Casinos are pleased to announce Holiday Dreams™, A Spectacular Holiday Cirque! will perform on Saturday, December 16 at 8 p.m. Eastern and Sunday, December 17 at 6 p.m. Eastern at Four Winds New Buffalo’s Silver Creek® Event Center. Ticket prices for the show range from $25 to $45, plus applicable fees, and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster beginning on Friday, August 25 at 11 a.m. Eastern. Hotel rooms are available on the night of the concert and can be purchased with event tickets.
Holiday Dreams, A Spectacular Holiday Cirque! has become more than just a spellbinding holiday show; it has evolved into a cherished family tradition for everyone who loves the Holiday Season. Touring across the U.S. and Canada, this dazzling production has spread the magic and joy of the holidays far and wide.
Created by the imaginative Fernando Quevedo, Holiday Dreams was born out of a loving belief that people of all ages can come together to experience the enchantment of the Holidays in a technologically advanced, fun, and exciting show. Fernando, who is the Creator, Producer, and Director of the show, grew up in a circus in Europe, mesmerized by the incredible artists who performed daring and entertaining acts from around the world.
Upon moving to America, Fernando's fascination shifted to the grandiosity and lavishness of Vegas shows. The problem was that these shows were tailored for adults, and he couldn't see his father perform. His father's humorous suggestion, "Well, create a show and hire me and let all the kids in!" lingered in Fernando's mind, leading to the idea of creating a spectacle filled with the awe-inspiring elements of 'grown-up' shows, but made for the whole family. Thus, Holiday Dreams was born.
Breaking into Las Vegas, however, proved a challenge, as it wasn't known for its family-friendly entertainment. Undeterred, Fernando began looking outside of Vegas, finally landing a pitch with Mr. Joe Palmer, Owner of the Carousel Theater in Ohio. Impressed by Fernando's vision and tenacity, Mr. Palmer gave him his first big break, booking the show for the winter season. The gamble paid off. The audiences embraced Holiday Dreams, and it became a runaway hit, selling more than 25,000 tickets without any famous stars leading the show.
Emboldened by the success and the enthusiastic audience reaction, Fernando has since introduced cutting-edge elements he's passionate about, such as HOLOGRAMS, PROJECTION MAPPING, and INTERACTIVE LASERS.
