At Porter-Starke Services, we realize that the health, balance and hope of our community is guided by the quality services our talented and dedicated staff provide. Applying the knowledge that caregivers also have to care for themselves, we support the health and wellness of our employees in a variety of ways. Staff programs initiated over recent years include an organizationwide wellness rewards program, ongoing employee recognition programs, a new Leadership Academy, the Living Health?Balance?Hope Sympsium and Fitness Fridays. These efforts helped Porter-Starke Services receive two awards from the American Psychological Association: the 2013 State of Indiana Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award (the sole recipient for the State of Indiana!) and the 2014 National Best Practices Award.
More importantly, these efforts to create a work environment where employees thrive, feel more engaged and committed to the organization’s success ultimately led to better care for our clients and the community. That quality care reached nearly 11,000 people last year. The significant efforts placed on best practices, outcomes management and customer service have helped ensure that each encounter was met with professional care and compassion.
This annual report highlights a few of our many accomplishments. These improvements are only possible as a result of the hard work and dedication of our clients, employees, partners, donors, sponsors and volunteers. My most heartfelt thank you and appreciation for all that you do.
