Ivy Tech Community College Collaborates with Italian Cosmetics Company AllMyFy

Ivy Tech Valparaiso Campus announces a collaboration with AllMyFy Inc. an Italian-American company that will open its facilities in Northwest Indiana in January 2022.

Working with cosmetics and international business experts, the purpose of this collaboration with Ivy Tech students was to bring fresh creativity and practical experience to their coursework and develop a real cosmetic line based on natural cosmetic principles. AllMyFy Inc. has become the reference point for the third-party production of natural and organic cosmetics in Europe and is now bringing its knowledge to the American beauty market, specializing in the formulation and production of vegan, natural, and organic cosmetics.

“This proved to be an excellent realization of the vision of Ivy Tech’s Career Coaching and Employer Connections (CCEC): to connect students with business leaders for practical, hands-on learning experiences,” shared Patti Shields, Executive Director, CCEC.

The project was developed between June and July 2021 when Ivy Tech’s students participated in virtual courses with AllMyFy experts from Italy and Indiana who gave them the experience to work in a team as colleagues and develop with their own creative cosmetics line. They studied the formulas with the lab developers, chose sustainable packaging with the Italian experts, and designed the labels with AllMyFy’s graphic team, giving life to Duneland Beauty, an entire line of hand cleansers.

Duneland Beauty is a limited-edition hand cleanser line composed of a hand-cleansing spray, a hand-cleansing gel, and a hand-cleansing cream. The line comes in four different scents inspired by the four seasons: Lime, Watermelon, Mango, and Chocolate, with the formulas enriched with three different characteristic ingredients from Indiana: Apple Extract, Pumpkin Oil, and Peppermint Oil. The line is completely inspired by Indiana with the Indiana Dunes appearing in the product logo.

“It was my first time being part of a class like this,” said a student working in the program. “As a graphic design student, I understood there’s so much involved when creating and designing.”

“The experience with Ivy Tech has been so enriching in AllMyFy Inc.’s developing process. Ivy Tech allowed us to collaborate with students and their faculty. Taking our knowledge from Europe, we understood there’s a wide space for natural-based cosmetics here in the U.S. and we are ready to bring our experience here to create a different way of making cosmetics,” said Stefano Tunesi, CEO of AllMyFy Inc.

With their natural-based cosmetic brand Everyday for Future USA, AllMyFy Inc. has opened their first pop-up store in Chicago, a clean beauty destination for organic skincare and make-up. The store will be open at 55 E. Grand until the end of the year, ready to join all of those who want to visit and want to live a brand-new self-care experience during this festive time of year. The Duneland Beauty line is currently available.
