The VCS annual Kindergarten Round-Up takes place today, April 14, from 9 a.m. – 12 noon or from 4-7 p.m. at Flint Lake Elementary. It is very important all families with children eligible to attend kindergarten next school year attend this event. Families will be able to register children for kindergarten, and all children will be screened to determine their readiness for school. Children must be five years-old prior to August 1, 2011 to be eligible for kindergarten, and must live within the Valparaiso schools’ boundary to register. Registration packets can be found on-line at www.valpo.k12.in.us. The registration and screening process will take approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.
