Levin Tire and Service Center has long been a go-to for many Region residents when it’s time for their car maintenance needs. While many of Levin’s customers are servicing their personal vehicles, the service center also offers a bevy of options for commercial customers in need of a one-stop shop to keep their fleet on the road.
A commercial fleet refers to any number of vehicles a business uses in its day-to-day operations. The needs of each business in terms of maintenance can vary based on a number of factors: in-house mechanics, company size, and vehicle type. To accommodate these needs, Levin works with each customer to get a full understanding of what “service” means to them.
“We try to embrace interested companies and see what their needs are,” Levin General Manager Jeffrey Russell said. “A customer could have a fleet with two or three vehicles or with 50 vehicles. Regardless of size, we are expertly positioned to take care of any and all needs of a commercial fleet.”
One way Levin helps its commercial customers is by providing services as needed based on the company. A company with its own tech team might not need a third party to perform more extensive services, but Levin is still able to provide oil changes and tire services. Other companies that don’t have a tech might need more extensive maintenance done at Levin’s locations, a situation Levin is always happy to accommodate.
“There’s virtually nothing we can’t do,” Russell said. “We do oil changes, front-end work, shocks, struts, engine replacement – we are a one-stop shop, and we tailor that to our customers’ needs. We can do everything besides bodywork.”
Levin is also able to offer its commercial customers fleet pricing, leading to significant savings in the long run.
“When you have an account with us, you can get commercial fleet pricing, which is a nationally negotiated price and the lowest you can get in the country,” Russell said. “Additionally, we can offer fleet customers tires at $15 over our purchasing cost no matter the size. We’re structured to be very price-friendly to our customers.”
While all of Levin’s locations can handle most fleet vehicles that come through, the newest store in Crown Point is set to be able to service even the heavy-duty vehicles a business might need.
“When we built our latest store in Crown Point, we knew it was going to get quite a bit of commercial business with some heavy-duty trucks, so we wanted to position ourselves accordingly,” said Russell. “Our new store has the longest, heaviest, largest racks in the area. If we have an electrical truck loaded up with equipment come in, we can service that.”
Ultimately, Levin is dedicated to providing convenient, affordable, quality service to every customer who comes in, regardless of fleet size.
“Choosing Levin is a matter of convenience,” Russell said. “We’re able to do pretty much everything and get customers’ trucks and vehicles back on the road. We’re also very customer-friendly in terms of pricing and flexibility. Let us know what your needs are or how those needs have changed, and we can change our service accordingly.”
