May in Nation Stroke Awareness Month. Life Care Centers of the Willows feels that it is important to be prepared in case you or someone you love suffers from a stroke.
Act FAST for stroke. Use these tips to recognize signs of stroke. This could save someone's life.
F- Face. Ask the person to smile. Does one side droop?
A- Arms. Ask the person to raise both arms. Does one arm drift downward.
S- Speech. Ask the person to repeat a simple phrase. Is their speech slurred or strange?
T- Time. If you observe any of these signs, call 911 immediately.
