The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana is proud to announce that their Director of Training, Jonathon Young, has won the prestigious Trainer of the Year award from Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the National Trainers Initiative (NTI). Jonathon was recognized for his exceptional work in 2022, delivering high-quality trainings and making a significant impact on the organization and its employees.
Jonathon's dedication to his work was reflected in his training of over 150 employees in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and basic programming over the course of his first year. The nomination for this award was submitted by Kris Condon, Vice President of Club Services - a testament to the high regard in which Jonathon is held by his peers.
As the winner of the Trainer of the Year award, Jonathon will receive a $1,000 prize for his organization, an engraved plaque, and a $150 NTI Trainer Store Gift. Additionally, he was recognized at the NTI Reception during the National Conference, which took place from May 3rd-5th in Orlando, Florida.
