Brayden Jones – Sales Team - Sales Specialist
“When I was a teenager, I went through a lot of vehicles. The first car I had was totaled out, I had the option to buy it back from the insurance company and was able to do the repairs myself,” said Brayden Jones, sales specialist with Team Chevy, “I then sold the vehicle and was able to make a little money. This is what started my love of cars, I started buying and selling cars and really liked the whole process. I did this for several years and then decided to see how I could do making this a career.”
With Team Chevy, Jones approaches sales with an emphasis on transparency and making sure every customer feels valued and respected.
“There are a lot of choices when choosing a car dealership to do business with. I do my best to spend time with my guests listening to what they are in search of,” he said. “The best part of my job is helping someone find the vehicle that works for them. It's like putting the pieces of a puzzle together as there is a lot that goes into buying a car. I like the fact that we make it easy for our customers to choose their vehicle of choice and are able to help them along in the process.”
Jones said his favorite part of the job is the people that he meets.
“I've had the opportunity to meet so many people during the time that I have worked here. Some have become friends of mine and will stop in from time to time to check in and say hi,” said Jones. “Helping someone through the process is what makes this job fun! Seeing someone's life change and be part of it is another reason to love this job. Next time you are in the market for a vehicle please stop in to Team Chevrolet and ask for me, Brayden Jones.”
Tyler Brown – Service Team – Service Advisor
Brown first took his seat at Team Chevy’s service counter in March of 2019. He’d been in the car business for nearly 10 years beforehand, but had been working in sales. As a service advisor, he talks with customers who bring their vehicles into the garage and serves as a bridge to the technicians.
“It was an interesting transition,” he said. “I already knew how to do a lot of it because I already knew how to talk to customers, provide good customer service, and explain things in a way people could understand. This is about translating a technician's words into something that customers who don’t know much about cars can understand.”
As for why he made the shift? He simply wanted to try something a bit different.
“It is always something new,” Brown said. “I like being in a position where I am helping people. I am a lot happier here at Team Chevrolet. I enjoy getting someone's vehicle repaired and back on the road so they are safe and don't have to worry.”
Brown takes pride in giving top level service to all of his customers.
“If you are in need of service on your vehicle please reach out to me, Tyler Brown.”
C.J. Bertolo – Parts Team – Parts Counter
Bertolo mans the parts counter, helping customers find pieces for the vehicles and ensuring the service team has the parts they need to complete repairs. Customer service and a head for inventory management are key to the job – one that he initially saw as a little more temporary.
“When I first started in cars, it was mostly just something to get me through school,” Bertolo said. “Then it kind of just took over.”
He hadn’t been particularly interested in cars growing up, but when he got his first job in the field, it quickly grew into a hobby as well as a career.
“One of my high school buddies joined in with me, and we started a car club,” he said. “That lasted five or six years.”
He’s been with Team Chevy for a while now, and his favorite part of each day is the people he works with.
“I’d say that I’d do this job anywhere else, but the truth is that the people here really make it what it is,” he said. “We all love each other here, but I also love the job itself. I get to look things up and treat it kind of like a puzzle, figuring out what needs what, what parts go where.”
